There’s a reason he’s never been able to think straight when Tommy is shifted- he’s so small. There’s a reason you can visit the nether for years and the piglets in the bastions won’t grow up like you’d think they would. Normally he can’t tell his little brother spends so much time in his human form that it’s easy to forget he’s a baby by piglin standards. Techno could carry him around in the bend of one arm while he’s like this. Small hands are fisted in his shirt, a little head of golden curls tucked under his chin to listen to the sound of his heartbeat. It’s not just any golden piglet either- it’s a runt. Neither he nor his instincts anticipated a little golden piglet being curled up in the nest. His hindbrain should be mostly dormant- his instincts squished down and gone outside of the vaguest inclination to protect what is his. His hibernation is over which means, all things considered, his brain should be back to normal. Waking up to his -very tiny- little brother burrowed in his arms is not what Technoblade wanted for whatever day it is, but here they are.
